TranslateOff ("we", "us", or "our") values your privacy above all else. This privacy policy outlines how we handle information when you use our offline translation application ("App"). TranslateOff is a fully offline translation app. It does not request network permissions and cannot connect to the internet. All voice recognition, AI translation, and text-to-speech processing happens entirely on your device. No data ever leaves your phone.

We do not collect any personal data from you.

• Voice & Text Input: Your voice recordings and text inputs are processed entirely on-device by local AI models (Whisper for speech recognition, Qwen3 for translation). They are never transmitted anywhere.
• Translation History: Your translation records are stored locally on your device only. We have no access to them.
• Usage Analytics: We do not use any analytics SDKs (such as Mixpanel, Bugly, or Firebase). We have zero visibility into how you use the app.
• Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers, model information, or system versions.
• Error Reports: We do not automatically collect crash logs or error reports.

In short: We collect nothing. We see nothing. We know nothing about you.

We don't have your data, so we cannot use it.

All processing happens locally on your device:
• Speech recognition is performed by the Whisper model running on your device.
• Translation is performed by the Qwen3 model running on your device.
• Text-to-speech is handled by your device's built-in speech synthesizer.

No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

All your data stays on your device.

• Translation history is stored in your device's local storage.
• AI models (Whisper and Qwen3) are downloaded to your device's Application Support directory and run entirely locally.
• We do not use CloudKit, iCloud, or any cloud storage service.
• We do not operate any servers.

You maintain complete control over your data at all times. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device.

No. We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data in the first place.

• We do not sell or rent personal information.
• We do not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not transfer data to any servers, cloud services, or external systems.
• In the event of a merger, sale, or acquisition, there would be no user data to transfer.

The app is designed from the ground up to be incapable of transmitting data externally — it simply does not have network access.

TranslateOff does not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect personal information. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking components.

The only third-party components used are open-source AI inference libraries (whisper.cpp and llama.cpp), which run entirely on your device and do not communicate with any external services.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over data retention and deletion:

• You can clear your translation history at any time within the app.
• Uninstalling the app permanently removes all app data from your device.
• We have no remote copies of any of your data.

If you have purchased a membership subscription, canceling the subscription via your Apple ID settings will stop future billing but will not affect any locally stored data.

TranslateOff does not knowingly collect information from children. Since the app does not collect any personal data from any users regardless of age, it is safe for use by children. No account creation or personal information is required to use the app.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app. Since the app's core design principle is complete offline operation, any future updates will maintain the same commitment to your privacy — no data will ever leave your device.
